(This notice is about the introduction of parking changes as an experiment. During the first 6 months that this scheme is in operation, representations may be made to them being continued permanently –see paragraph 5.)

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 22nd November 2012

the Council of the London Borough of Haringey, hereinafter called the Council, made the above-mentioned Orders under section 9 of the

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to vary provisions of the original experimental orders relating to the Muswell Hill Bus stop relocation, the changes being as follows:-

(a) extend the taxi bay outside Nos. 304 to 310 Muswell Hill Broadway

(outside Ladbrokes) to a distance of 10 metres;

(b) move the motorcycle bay to a location outside No. 310 Muswell

Hill Broadway;

(c) provide more pay and display parking outside Muswell Hill Baptist


(d) introduce new double yellow lines and double yellow blips (no loading at any time) outside Nos. 296 to 302 Muswell Hill Broadway and outside Nos. 346 to 370 Muswell Hill Broadway.

3. The Orders provide that in pursuance of Section 10(2) of the Road

Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the delegated authority of the London

Borough of Haringey, or some person authorised in that behalf, may if it appears essential in the interests of the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of traffic or for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which any road affected by the Order runs, modify or suspend the Order or any provision thereof.

4. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on

30th November 2012, of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders, together with plans and more detailed particulars showing the locations...
