NOTICE IS GIVEN under the provisions of the 1990 Act that Leeds

City Council has determined that the areas described in the Schedule to this Notice are areas of special architectural or historic interest, and that it is desirable to preserve or enhance their character or appearance.

It has accordingly amended the Calverley Conservation Area (9 April 2009), Pudsey Conservation Area (9 April 2009), Bramley Town

(formerly Bramley Town Street) (11 May 2009) Boston Spa and Thorp

Arch Conservation Areas (28 September 2009) and the Adel-St John’s

Conservation Area (2 November 2009) so as to include the areas defined in the Schedule below. These variations were made in the context of preparing and adopting a conservation area appraisal and management plan for each area. It has also designated the Pool-in-

Wharfedale Conservation Area (21 September 2009) and deleted the

Bramley Hough Lane Conservation Area (11 May 2009).
